Over a dozen local restaurants will serve up their signature chowder and YOU choose the winner! Chowder tickets are $1 for each 3 oz. cup of chowder or you may purchase 12 tickets for just $10. Tickets will be on sale the day of the event within the village at various store locations. Proceeds will benefit Always Home and their work preventing family homelessness. A team of celebrity judges will choose the winners in three categories: 1) Most Creative Chowder, 2) Heartiest Chowder, 3) Best Use of Regional Ingredients and 4) Best overall flavor. The public will vote for the winners of the coveted “People’s Choice” for Best Chowder category. All awards will be presented in the Meeting House in Olde Mistick Village at 4:30 pm.
